Inspiring a love for sports, whatever your goal: that is the aim of the Sporty Challenge Saint-Martin, which will take place on Sunday, September 27, at the Galion site.
This first edition is part of the European Week of Sport, an initiative led by the European Commission and held annually from September 23 to 30. Through the #BeActive campaign, this initiative encourages everyone to engage in physical and sporting activities, regardless of age, background, or fitness level.
To achieve this, the Sporty Challenge offers four sporting courses:
- Challenge Course – advanced level (adults and teenagers): intended for participants in good physical condition who exercise regularly. This is a timed event, with rankings and prizes for the top four men and top four women.
- Excellence Course – intermediate level (adults): a sporting challenge accessible to all levels in a friendly setting. The event is untimed and non-competitive, with prizes to be won.
- Evolution Course – adapted level (teenagers aged 12 to 18): a course tailored to the age and level of young participants. The event is untimed and non-competitive, with prizes included.
- Spirit Course – duo (one parent + one child aged 6 to 12): a team-based course designed to share a sporting challenge and build bonds in a friendly spirit.
Four start waves are scheduled for each course, with departures every hour between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. The various courses will feature cardio and muscle-strengthening exercises. The goal is to inspire everyone to get moving, challenge themselves, and share a sporting and human experience, all in a friendly atmosphere.
Registration is open until September 18, with a limit of 200 participants in total. All courses are priced at 15 euros, with the exception of the Spirit course, which is 25 euros per pair. Each participant will receive an official Sporty Challenge Saint-Martin t-shirt and a goodie bag. Many other prizes will also be up for grabs.
