As part of the implementation of its Territorial Sport Development Plan
adopted in 2018, and in accordance with the evolution of the CEES statute into a Public Establishment in
Administrative nature (EPA), the Collectivity of Saint-Martin reinforces its offer
of support for high performance through the Support Grant for
High Level Athletes (BASHN).
This grant is a direct continuation of the Sport Mobility Exchange (BMS). She is
specifically designed to support confirmed athletes, identified as being in
able to take the final step between excellence and high performance or
professionalization. It aims to guarantee the continuity of the triple project (sports, school and
socio-educational), in a critical period in the athlete's career.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Support Grant for High-Level Athletes, the candidate
must:
• Have been a resident of Saint-Martin for at least 5 years;
• Be licensed in a local sports club;
• Be admitted to an excellent structure located Out of the territory ;
• Be enrolled in a school or sports educational institution (full-time or
partial);
• Justify a national or international level, attested by:
o An entry on the ministerial list of top athletes;
o A certificate from the federation or the top-level club;
o Performances in leading competitions in N or N-1 (championships)
from France, Europe, the World);
• Integrate a recognized structure by a professional federation or organization.
Financing conditions
The Support Grant for High-Level Athletes (BASHN) finances costs of
Schooling, the accommodation costs, the transport costs, as well as the material costs
and of travel in competition.
The beneficiary can benefit from this aid on a maximum duration of 4 years, whether

The amount will be fixed by the deliberation of the Center for Excellence and Education through Sport,
on the proposal of the Commission for the Award of Grants, Grants and Grants (CABAS).
Funding criteria and modalities
The award of aid is based on several criteria:
• Criterion 1: assistance granted to athletes according to school fees.
• Criterion 2: assistance granted to athletes according to the transport costs associated with
the distance from their homes and trips to competitions
• Criterion 3: assistance granted to athletes far from home according to costs
accommodation.
• Criterion 4: Assistance for the purchase of sports equipment essential for the practice of
high level (small equipment, large equipment, various subscriptions).

• Valid identity document (CNI, passport); if a foreigner outside the EU: title of
valid stay).
• Valid identity document of the legal representative.
• RIB in the name of the candidate.
• Certificate of residence of the candidate (accommodation certificate or lease contract).
• Copy of diplomas obtained.
• School reports for year n-1 or school certificate.
• Proof of admission to the host institution.
For tuition fees:
• Proof of tuition fees (administrative and/or educational fees).
• Detailed program of the schooling or training envisaged, on school letterhead.
For transport costs:
• Proof of air transport costs (quotation or invoice).
For accommodation expenses:
• Proof of accommodation expenses (quote or invoice or lease contract).
For material costs:
• Proof of material costs (estimate or invoice).
Additional documents in case of renewal:
• Copy of the school certificate (application for renewal of aid).
• Supporting documents for expenses incurred in the previous year.
