The first edition of the Sporty Challenge took place this Sunday, September 27, at Galion Beach. 108 participants took part across four different courses, with start times at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 AM.
The various courses combined muscle strengthening and cardio exercises, adapted to different audiences and fitness levels by a coach and the support team.
Supported by the CEES, this first edition was part of the European Week of Sport, an initiative led by the European Commission and held annually from September 23 to 30.
Through the #BeActive campaign, the goal of this initiative was to offer an accessible, intergenerational, and unifying sporting event, allowing everyone to move at their own pace while combining fun, sharing, and cohesion. For those looking for more of a challenge, the Challenge course included a timed component.
