Designed as a sporting, educational, and community event, this international basketball tournament aims to strengthen ties between regions, promote competitive basketball among young people, and provide a showcase for emerging talents in the area.
The 2026 edition will take place on May 15 and 16 at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool Stadium Sports Hall in Marigot. Over two days, the best U18 teams from the United States, Anguilla, Tortola, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten, and Saint-Martin will participate in high-level matches, recognition events, official ceremonies, and activities designed to highlight youth, sport, and Caribbean cooperation. Institutionally supported by the CEES, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, and the Caisse Territoriale des Œuvres Sociales, the SIBT represents a strategic opportunity to position Saint-Martin as a driving force for youth basketball in the Caribbean.
