



Missions
The DEJEPS "scuba diving activities" enables its holder to practise as a professional diving instructor.
The holder may teach and supervise diving in scuba gear between 0 and 40 metres depth, as well as all underwater activities (freediving, snorkelling...) and act as dive director.
Pré-requis
Candidate profile
This training is open to experienced adult divers wishing to become professionals in underwater activities, whether employed, self-employed, job-seeking or changing careers.
Access conditions
- PA40 qualification minimum
- Proof of 100 dives in open water, signed by an E4
- Up-to-date PSE1
- Coastal maritime pleasure craft licence
- Advanced nitrox diver qualification
Prior Requirements Test
Technical tests:
- Mannequin rescue
- Emergency management at 25 metres
- Leading an exploration dive
- Written theoretical and practical knowledge check
Level 4 holders are exempt from these technical tests.
Selection tests
Oral interview on personal and professional background and candidate motivation.
