



Missions
The usual job title is: equestrian instructor or riding monitor. The monitor works in all companies, associations and structures, public or private, on a permanent, occasional or seasonal basis. They can be employed in the public or private sector, be self-employed or run a business.
The equestrian activities monitor:
• Leads a project, progressions, and equestrian animation, pony and horse initiation or development sessions, discovery of the human/horse relationship, and awareness of sustainable development and citizenship.
• Participates in the work, care and well-being of the equines used, maintenance of equipment and facilities, organisation and management of activities, welcoming the public and running the structure, and promotion of activities.
Pré-requis
1. Hold a first aid training certificate (PSC1...).
2. Present a medical certificate of no contraindication dated less than one year from entry into training.
3. Pass the two following tests for any option chosen:
Test A – Outdoor and varied terrain control
Test B – Technical test
