Missions

The animator works mainly in community facilities such as neighbourhood centres, social centres, youth facilities, hospitals, holiday villages, etc. They can also prepare for public service competitive exams.
They autonomously lead scientific, technical, cultural and physical activities for different audiences, and support audiences in using digital tools in a civic and participatory approach.
They are responsible for their pedagogical actions, ensure safety of those in their care, and may direct collective youth facilities.

Pré-requis

1. Hold a first aid training certificate.

2. Demonstrate a minimum of 200 hours of professional or non-professional animation experience with a group.

3. Pass the selection tests: professional written test (2h) and oral interview (30 min).

Objectifs de la formation

The training programme is organised into 4 Capitalisable Units (UC):

• Supervise all publics in all settings and structures.
• Implement a cultural animation project within the structure's project.
• Lead an animation action in the "leisure for all" and collective youth facility management field.
• Mobilise popular education approaches to implement animation activities in the "leisure for all" field.
