Missions

The holder works in tourist offices, regional houses, outdoor hospitality, social and family tourism, holiday villages, marinas, casinos, golf clubs, rental structures, museums and tourist sites, festivals and cultural events, transport services, and wellbeing and leisure businesses.
They welcome, inform and direct individual or group visitors.
They work mainly at reception areas with customers present, but also by phone and via web communication tools (email, chat, forums, social media).

Pré-requis

Baccalauréat level or equivalent, English at A2 CEFR level.
One year of customer-facing experience, including seasonal or voluntary work, is strongly recommended.
A driving licence is advisable for employment.

Objectifs de la formation

1 – Manage customer relations at a destination or tourist venue:

• Support customers during online reservation or purchase of tourist services.
• Welcome, inform and direct tourist customers.
• Organise tourist information and distribute it across various media.

2 – Assist customers with tourist and leisure services:

• Advise on and sell tourist and leisure services and additional products/services.
• Provide a rental service linked to a leisure activity.

3 – Contribute to the delivery of festive and cultural events:

• Participate in the promotion of festive and cultural events.
• Contribute to the organisation and logistics of festive and cultural events.
• Contribute to the welcome and animation at festive and cultural events.
