This inaugural edition is part of the European Week of Sport, taking place from September 23 to 30, 2026, an initiative by the European Commission to promote physical activity and sport for everyone.

A sports challenge for everyone!
The Saint-Martin Sporty Challenge offers 4 courses and 4 experiences, designed to suit different ages and fitness levels.
Each course is designed by a sports instructor and features cardio and muscle-strengthening exercises tailored to the target group.
The event celebrates the joy of movement, personal achievement, team spirit, camaraderie, and the values of sport.
CHALLENGE COURSE — Advanced level
Adults and teenagers: The most demanding course of the event, intended for participants with good physical fitness and regular athletic practice.
The course also includes a section in the water. You must know how to swim.
Timed event with individual rankings. An awards ceremony will be held for the top 4 men and top 4 women.
👉 Swimming goggles are not mandatory, but may of course be used by those who wish to.
EXCELLENCE COURSE — Intermediate level
Adults
A course accessible to adults of all fitness levels, allowing them to take on a sporting challenge in a suitable and friendly environment.
Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and commitment of the participants.
EVOLUTION COURSE — Adapted level
Teenagers aged 12 to 18
A course designed for teenagers, adapted to their age and skill level, in a spirit of challenge and camaraderie.
Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and commitment of the young participants.
SPIRIT COURSE — Duo
1 parent + 1 child aged 6 to 12
A two-person course to share a fun, active experience, focused on the joy of moving and taking on a challenge together.
Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and the shared experience of this duo sporting event.

Practical information
Location : Galion Beach
Date : Sunday, September 27, 2026
Start times : 7:00 AM • 8:00 AM • 9:00 AM • 10:00 AM
Each course is limited to 50 participants in total. You will select your preferred time slot during registration, subject to availability.
Course : 4 athletic courses tailored to different skill levels
Capacity : 50 participants maximum per course
Arrival time : We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow enough time for check-in, final checks, and warm-ups before the start.
Attire : Appropriate sportswear and athletic shoes are mandatory. Please also remember to bring a water bottle, a hat, and sunscreen. Wearing a hat and applying sunscreen is highly recommended to protect yourself from the sun.
After the activity : To make the most of this iconic Saint-Martin location and extend your experience, we suggest bringing a change of clothes, as well as a towel and swimsuit to enjoy the beach after your session. Remember to also bring dry clothes for your return trip.
Award ceremony : at the Sport Village, starting at 11:30 AM (time to be confirmed).
A Sport Village will accompany the event with activity areas and food truck dining options.

How are the prizes awarded?
Challenge: Prizes are awarded based on the timed rankings.
Excellence, Évolution, and Spirit courses: winners are selected by a random draw.
Spirit course: this course is completed in parent-child pairs. If a pair is selected in the draw, the prize is awarded to the parent.
Award Ceremony
The award ceremony and prize draws will take place at the Sport Village at the end of the event, starting at 11:45 AM (estimated time).
