This inaugural edition is part of the European Week of Sport, taking place from September 23 to 30, 2026, an initiative by the European Commission to promote physical activity and sport for everyone.

A sports challenge for everyone!

The Sporty Challenge Saint-Martin offers 4 courses and 4 experiences, designed to suit different ages and fitness levels.

Each course is designed by a sports instructor and features cardio and muscle-strengthening exercises tailored to the target group.

The event celebrates the joy of movement, personal achievement, team spirit, camaraderie, and the values of sport.

CHALLENGE COURSE — Advanced level

Adults and teenagers: The most demanding course of the event, designed for participants with good physical fitness and regular athletic training.

The course also includes a water section. You must be able to swim.

Timed event with individual rankings. An awards ceremony will be held for the top 4 men and top 4 women.

EXCELLENCE COURSE — Intermediate level

Adults

A course accessible to adults of all fitness levels, allowing you to take on a sporting challenge in a suitable and friendly environment.

Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and commitment of all participants.

EVOLUTION COURSE — Adapted level

Teenagers aged 12 to 18

A course designed for teenagers, tailored to their age and fitness level, in a spirit of challenge and fun.

Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and commitment of the young participants.

SPIRIT COURSE — Duo

1 parent + 1 child aged 6 to 12

A two-person course to share a fun, active experience, focused on the joy of moving and taking on a challenge together.

Non-timed event with no individual rankings. Awards will be presented to recognize the participation and the shared experience of this duo sporting event.

Practical information

Location : Galion Beach

Date : Sunday, September 27, 2026

Start times : 7:00 AM • 8:00 AM • 9:00 AM • 10:00 AM
Each course is limited to 50 participants in total. You select your preferred time slot during registration, subject to availability.

Courses : 4 athletic courses tailored to different groups

Capacity : 50 participants maximum per course

Arrival time : We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow enough time for check-in, final checks, and preparation before the start.

Attire : Appropriate sportswear and athletic shoes are mandatory. Please also remember to bring a water bottle, a hat, and sunscreen. Wearing a hat and applying sunscreen are highly recommended to protect yourself from the sun.

After the activity : To fully enjoy this iconic Saint-Martin location and extend your experience, we suggest bringing a change of clothes, as well as a towel and swimsuit to enjoy the beach afterward. Remember to also bring dry clothes for your return trip.

Awards ceremony : at the Sport Village, starting at 11:30 AM (time to be confirmed).

A Sport Village will accompany the event with activity areas and food truck dining options.

Registration for the Sporty Challenge Saint-Martin is open via our online platform until September 18, 2026, inclusive, subject to availability.

Each participant will receive an official Sporty Challenge Saint-Martin t-shirt and a goodie bag.
